'Damascus…Aleppo” to open Alexandria Film Festival

The film is directed by Bassel al-Khatib, written by Talid al-Khatib and produced by the National Film Organization, SANA reported.

The film tells the story of a virtual journey in a bus transporting passengers between Damascus and Aleppo where a group of people of different ages, orientations and opinions are gathered, reflecting the Syrian society with its diversity and social pluralism.

The film stars Duraid Laham, Salma al-Masri, Sabah al-Jazaeri, Kinda Hanna, others.

The 34th edition of Alexandria Film Festival will run between 3 and 9 October with the participation of more than 250 films.
