‘Corpse Bride’ to go on stage in Tehran

This is the first time an Iranian team will give life to a musical performance of Tim Burton and Mike Johnson's famous gothic romance ‘Corpse Bride’ at the Espinas Palace Hotel in Tehran in late April and early May.

The fantasy drama animation is about Victor and Victoria whose families have arranged their marriage. Victor picks a forest to practice his vows for the ceremony. While doing so, he is dragged into the world of the dead from where he must escape from if he wants to save his fiancé from the villainous Barkis Bittern, ifilmtv.com reported.

Milad Mahdavi is in charge of music production for the new play while Mehdi Norouzi’s orchestra will perform the pieces.

Norouzi’s resumé lists collaboration with Richard Clayderman.
