A number of tourism officials, tourist agencies and Japanese tourists attended the conference, co-sponsored by the World Air-Sea Service tourist agency, IRNA reported.
Mojtaba Zahedi, an economics expert at the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Embassy in Japan, presented Iranian civilization and culture as part of the human heritage, which is noteworthy for all countries and tourists.
At the end of this conference, Iran's presentation packages were given to the participants.
Japan is among the leading tourism and tourist destinations in Asia, with the country hosting a record 30 million tourists a year in Japan's tourism industry.
The Japanese government has set a strategy for the tourism industry, according to which the number of tourists in the country will reach 40 million by 2020, by providing more facilities and building tourist facilities.
