According to the bill, mothers of such children can fill out a request on behalf of their minor children to receive Iranian citizenship. And if the children are above 18 years old, they can personally apply for Iranian citizenship.

The bill will be voted for in Majlis (Iranian Parliament); and if passed, it will become a law.
