Bulgarian embassy plants trees as symbol of Tehran-Sofia friendship

Bulgarian Ambassador Christo Polendakov and some officials from District Six of Tehran municipality attended the ceremony.

Polendakov expressed happiness at the fact that the custom of planting trees exists in Iran.

He also added that fast winds break some trees in Tehran and planting saplings will make up for the loss.

In the past few days, District Six of Tehran Municipality has distributed 3,000 fruit and non-fruit trees among the residents of the district and has planted 22,000 saplings in the parks and sides of the highways.
