Brunei hails scientific, technology cooperation with Iran

Pengiran Haji Bahar made the remarks Wednesday in a meeting with Iranian cultural attaché in eastern Asia Abbas Ghanbari Baghestan.

He called for using Iran's capacities as regard technology parks, registration of Brunei universities in Islamic World Science Citation Database and also using scholarships for Brunei students.

During the meeting, Baghestan elaborated on Iran's achievements in higher educational field and also developing technology.

He also referred to exchange of professors, granting scholarship and holding workshops as important topics for both countries' cooperation.

Meanwhile, Iranian ambassador to Brunei Abdolhamid Fekri stressed the importance of convergence among developing countries.

He also urged Brunei to take advantage of Iran's experiences in scientific, training and academic fields.
