Speaking in an exclusive interview with IRNA, al-Jazairi said Tehran Mayor’s visit created a suitable opportunity for both sides to get familiar with experiences and potentials and also for holding good talks.
Referring to fruitful negotiations and also agreements in this trip, he said Baghdad is looking forward to seeing its results.
He also pointed to discussion which were made on cooperation grounds in Iraqi capital namely in urban development, health and public transportation.
Elsewhere in his remarks, he referred to public services, health, road, investment, improving Baghdad gateways and waste management as issues which can be followed up for developing cooperation between Tehran and Baghdad.
Underling the fact that Iraq’s approach to take advantage of prestigious companies’ experiences in urban management field, he expressed happiness to use Tehran experiences.
Describing the era of ISIS attack on Iraq as a dark point in the history of the country, al-Jazairi said Iraqi leaders are after opening a new chapter which is developing cooperation, preserving stability and starting reconstruction.
He emphasized that Iraq is seeking to take advantage of Iranian companies’ experiences in investment, reconstruction, health, energy, waste management.
