Mojtaba Mir-Mohseini told IRNA that popularity of tourism in Sistan-Baluchestan has made the industry in the province sustainable, as the recent incident failed to block development of the industry in this part of Iran.
“Austrian tourists’ destination ranges from northern province (Hamoun) to Makran in south of the province,” he said, noting that they are also to visit Loot Desert and Taftan tourism zone.
The tourists are seeking to get familiar with the provincial historic and cultural capacities, people’s lifestyle, local music and natural attractions, he said.
Austrian tourists are to stay in the province for eight days, he said.
Arrivals in the province indicate stability and security across the province, he said.
Sistan-Baluchestan boasts of hundreds of historic, cultural and recreational sites including Burnt City, Khajeh Mountain and Taftan.
