Assad: Trump's insult not change anything in Syria

'This is not my language, so I cannot use similar language. This is his language; it represents him,' al-Assad told Russian Today in interview on Wednesday.

Trump has called his Syrian counterpart 'Animal Assad.'

'There is a very known principle that what you see is what you are,' al-Assad continued.

He also said that only what 'level-headed', 'thoughtful', and 'moral' people say, whether positive or negative, should move things inside you. 'Somebody like Trump will move nothing in me.'
