Army choppers transfer rangers to plane crash scene: Commander

Helicopters will be available in the region to help shipment of victims of the incident, he said.

'Two helicopters were sent to the region and a number of others are prepared to fly from the Isfahan Base,' he said.

Taking into account the current circumstances and natural obstacles, transfer of dead bodies are not possible at the moment, said the commander.

An ATR passenger plane belonging to Aseman Airline crashed close to Semirom, south of Isfahan province, on Sunday when it was flying from Tehran to Yasouj.

All 59 passengers and 6 crew members of the plane are feared dead in the incident.
