Arak Heavy Water Reactor Facility to release latest report

The reporters will prepare report on the latest measures taken by the AEOI for implementing decisions made by Iran's Supreme National Security Council (SNSC).

Iran's President Hassan Rouhani said earlier that Iran will give a 60-day moratorium to the states parties to Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) to remedy their breaches and restore Iran's interests enshrined by the international deal.

The SNSC in a statement announced that Iran has stopped some of its commitments under the JCPOA as of May 8, 2019, the source said.

He added that the visit will be made within days.

The first visit of the Iranian reporters on increasing production of enriched uranium in Natanz Nuclear Facilities was made on May 20.

During this visit, Spokesman for Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Behrouz Kamalvandi said Iran’s 3.67-percent uranium production capacity has grown by four times.

The AEOI spokesman further noted Iran that Iran will take actions on the basis of its interests as well as its commitments under the JCOPA and the ceiling of 300 kilograms of enriched uranium and 130 tons of heavy water will be observed based on the Clause 26 of the JCPOA.

Noting that balance in the agreement has been disrupted, Kamalvandi said that after year-long patience, Iran is entitled to refer to all JCPOA’s clauses and stop implementing all or some sections of its commitments.
