Mahmoud Heidari made the remarks while meeting the heads of Iranian publishers that have participated in the Annual Winter Book Fair held in Bosnian capital of Sarajevo, highlighting books’ influence in developing cultural relations between Iran and Bosnia.
He said that Iranians and Bosnians have many things in common and referred to two Bosnian authors Fevzi Mostarac and Ahmed Sudi Bosnevi, who translated exquisite works of Persian poets and authors, as examples.
Head of Ibn Sina Institute, for his part, said that their recently-published book ‘Islam within European Identity’ by Resid Hafizovic has received attention and has attracted the interested people to the book fair.
The 13th edition of Annual Winter Book Fair is underway in Sarajevo’s Collegium Artisticum on December 13-24 with the participation of Bosnian, Serbian, Croatian, and Montenegrin publishers.
