Addressing a meeting with media managers of Sistan, Baluchestan Province on Friday, Mohammad Reza Darbandi said the mentioned numbers consist of websites, news agencies and journals.

He added that 2,300 ones of the certified media are active in social area.

There are 1,270 news websites in Iran, he noted.

Darbandi went on to say that from among 3,800 journals, 300 are newspapers, 800 are weekly newspaper and 900 are monthly magazines.
