65 villagers poisoned in southwest Iran: Official

About 14 of those villagers have been hospitalized and four of them have been dispatched to the province's capital city due to high fever, Shahyar Mirkheshti said.

He added the possible reason which made the villagers come to hospital early on Saturday is water contamination.

However, the reason for the incident has to be examined accurately, he said.

As the official noted, an ambulance with 12 aid workers have been sent to the village to help the people there.
