'Presence and working of foreign nationals without a permit is illegal in Iran,' said Ali-Akbar Akbari.

Akbari said that the 32 illegal foreigners were engaged in farming and construction activities.

He also added that Iranian employers that use the illegal foreign nationals to escape tax and insurance payments will be penalized.

Akbari said that 1,286 foreign nationals live in the province only five of whom are Afghans and the rest are from Iraq.
