Appendix, directed by Hossein Namazi, Vilaeiha, directed by Munir Gheidi, and Azar, directed by Mohammad Hamzei are to compete in the Special section of the event.

Other Iranian films 40 Kachal, Lina, The Story of Noon, Leaf of Life, all directed by Iranian directors will take part in NetPac section, and Motherhood will participate in Panorama section.

Farabi Cinema Foundation is in charge of global distribution of the films participated in the festival.

Asian Film Festival Barcelona 2018 is underway from October 31 to November 11 in Barcelona, Spain.
