1st Int'l Congress of neurosurgery kicks off in Iran's Orumiyeh

Scholars from Italy, Finland, Turkey, India, Pakistan and Afghanistan participate in the event to exchange experience in various subjects of neurosurgery and spinal cord and various areas of adults and children’s neurosurgery.
The conference takes place from November 15 to 17, 2017 in the Conference Hall of Imam Khomeini Educational Center in Orumiyeh, West Azarbaijan.
Tumor, trauma, vertebral column (spine), neurovascular, pediatrics and peripheral nerves are the main topics of the congress.
One hundred forty papers were received from leading domestic and foreign figures after publishing the call for papers for the conference and one hundred thirty one of them were finally chosen. Forty five works will be presented in the main hall of the 3-day conference and eighty six other articles are scheduled to be presented in a panel during the event.
Neurosurgery is a very challenging surgical specialty where techniques and technologies are constantly developing.
Neurosurgeons diagnose, assess and perform surgery to treat disorders of the nervous system. They operate on the central nervous system and the peripheral nervous system which can involve any area of the body.
