Anti-Iran sanctions irreversible: Gov’t spokesman

He pointed to US President Donald Trump's opposition with the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), and said that even if Washington tries to cancel the nuclear deal in the UN Security Council, one member can veto the US demand and it cannot revive the previous embargos.

JCPOA is a multilateral agreement which is at the interest of all sides and has its own monitoring mechanism that observes all sides’ commitment to their obligations, Nobakht noted.

He thanked the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei guidelines that helped reaching the nuclear deal with Group 5+1 (the US, China, Russia, France and Britain plus Germany).

'Government is seriously determined to follow the Leader's guidelines,' the spokesman added.
