Zarif in Rome for talks with top Italian officials

During visit to Rome which took place after his visit to Berlin, Zarif is to hold talks with his Italian counterpart Angelino Alfano and other senior officials here.

The talks will focus on issues of mutual interest as well as important international and regional questions.

Italy has been among Iran’s major trade partners in recent decades.

Tehran and Rome have broad cooperation in the economic fields, and Zarif’s negotiations in the Italian capital will concentrate on development of trade exchange.
