Iran urges global fight against extremism, violence

It is necessary that certain states give up their short-sighted economic and political interests and join the fight for rooting out the financial and ideological sources of extremism, the spokesman said in a message released on Sunday.

He added that all know very well the root causes of extremism and violence, noting, “This is not an advice or a political stance by Iran but it is a ‘must’ and a ‘necessity’ to safeguard world security.'

Those who do not intend to face the reality, dreadful increase of crimes committed by terrorists in every corner of the world should aware them sooner ore later, Qasemi noted.

He said that all forms and types of terrorism is condemned.

The spokesman underlined that the only solution to terrorism is to give up double standard approach towards this phenomena and to align with the international move against extremism and violence.

He condemned Saturday evening attacks in London and offered condolences to the bereaved families of victims.

Increase of blind and chain terrorist attacks across the world is a warning sign for the international community, Qasemi added.
