Pakistan condoles with Iran over tragic mine explosion

Pakistani foreign ministry in a statement said the government and the people of Pakistan offer deepest condolences to the government and people of Iran at the tragic loss of lives in Zemestanyurt coal mines explosion in northeastern province of Golestan.

“We extend our heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the families of the victims. We also pray for the safe recovery of miners still trapped in the mines,” said the statement.

At least 22 miners have been killed in a huge explosion in the Zemestanyurt coal mine. According to reports, 35 miners have been entrapped in the coal mine.
The provincial officials have announced three days of mourning on the sad event.
