Speaking to IRNA here on Wednesday, Vaezi denied the claims, stressing the US cannot have any interference in launching or not launching the Iranian satellites.
Iran’s moves to launch satellites are none of the US business, the communications minister noted.
“The Iranian satellites will be sent up without any hindrance, and whenever the conditions are prepared,” the minister stressed.
In recent days, some social networks have quoted the former chancellor of the Sharif University of Technology Reza Roosta-Azad claiming that the US meddling led to not launch the Iranian satellite dubbed ‘Sharif Sat.’
Already, head of Iran Space Agency (ISA) Mohsen Bahrami had said that launch of satellites is a time-consuming process depending on the conditions, adding it was not simple to set a definite time for their launch.
Simultaneous with the World Space Week (WSW) last year on October 4-10, 2016, Bahrami said at a press conference that Sharif Sat is ready to be launched and its technical review is to be concluded.
