IDP Education Study Abroad Roadshow successfully launched in Iran

13 universities and colleges from Australia, UK and Canada participated in the event which IDP has been running for many years around the region.

Some top ranked universities were among the participating institutions including The University of New South Wales from Australia, and University of Westminster, Brunel University, and The University of Bradford from the UK, according to IRNA reporter.

Around four hundred students visited the event, some with their parents, and had the opportunity to meet face to face with the universities representatives to explore study options, application process and requirements among other important information that international students need when starting their journey to study overseas.

“I am very happy with the way the event went today, the IDP team in Tehran did a great job and both students and university representatives are quite pleased with the experience they had” said Ahmed Elsayed, Head of Marketing for IDP Middle East.

“We are committed to help students make the right decisions regarding their overseas education and this event is a great opportunity for students and their families to directly interact with universities to get firsthand information about the study programs and career prospects they would offer to them.”

IDP Education has been offering student placement services for more than 45 years and is partly-owned by Australian universities and has strong ties with all education institutions. Moreover, IDP also offers student placement in the USA, UK, Canada and New Zealand, in addition to being co-owner of IELTS, the internationally recognized English proficiency test, with the British Council and the University of Cambridge.

IDP started student placement services in Iran in January 2016 through a partnership with Irsafam Institute, one of the major IELTS test centers for IDP in Iran and key provider of training services.
