Veep: US fresh sanctions against Iran will discredit Americans themselves

Speaking to reporters, Jahangiri said that the Iranian economy can resist even bigger problems.

The Iranian government will discuss the new US sanctions and the Foreign Ministry will also put the issue on their agenda, Jahangiri said.

If the US measure is a violation of Iran nuclear deal, Tehran will show appropriate reaction and even if it does not violate it, the Americans should know that such measures cannot put Iran under pressure and will only discredit themselves in the international arena, Jahangiri added.
