Zarif congratulates German president-elect Steinmeier

Zarif referred to Steinmeier as an outstanding politician and an advocate of global peace and dialogue.

He hoped that the German President-elect would be the source of valuable services to his country in his new post as he was when he served as the German foreign minister.

Zarif also said he is optimistic that Iran-Germany strong relations will further improve during Steinmeier tenure.
