President: People huge turnout a message for White House

The President made the remarks while attending a huge rally in the Iranian capital which was held to mark the 38th victory anniversary of the Islamic Revolution in Iran.

He said millions of Iranians came to the streets to give a clear response to the White House officials which is they would not abandon their revolution and aspirations of the late Imam Khomeini and the Islamic leadership.

Millions of Iranians took part in nationwide rallies on Friday to mark the 38th victory anniversary of the country's Islamic Revolution.

A number of top officials joined demonstrators in Tehran to commemorate the occasion which is being covered by up to 6,000, including 250 foreign, reporters, photojournalists and camerapersons.

A statement will be issued by the demonstrators at the end of their rally in Tehran before they attend the Friday Prayers congregation at Tehran University.
