Kuwaiti Emir’s message big step in cementing ties: Ambassador

Alireza Enayati in talk with reporters on Saturday pointed to the fact that Iran welcomes negotiations, saying that Kuwaiti Emir’s message paves the way for reinforcing regional cooperation and will bring about positive outcome in the future.

“The culture of negotiations and understanding prepares the ground for solving regional crisis,” he said.

“The brotherly message of Emir of Kuwait is an important step in reinforcing friendly relations between the Persian Gulf littoral states,” he added.

Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sabah al-Khalid al-Sabah in a meeting with President Rouhani on January 25 submitted the message of Emir of Kuwait.

He met with Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif, and they discussed bilateral ties and the latest international and regional developments. He also submitted a message from Emir of Kuwait to President Rouhani.
