Cuban president extends condolences on Plasco bldg. collapse

In his message to President Hassan Rouhani, Castro wished God's forgiveness and blessing for the victims of the tragic incident and quick recovery for the injured.

He also expressed sympathy with the bereaved families of the victims.

Plasco Trade Center, the 17-storey building collapsed in downtown Tehran while a number of firefighters were inside the building to rescue those trapped in the huge fire.

Plasco, built in 1962, was the first high-rise building in the Iranian capital.
