Two more bodies of Plasco firefighters pulled out of rubble

Including the two newly-found bodies, Maleki said, so far bodies of four firefighters and four citizens have been recovered from the building’s debris.

One firefighter also died in hospital of his injuries.

The funeral ceremony for the 16 martyred firefighters, already slated for Jan 26 in Tehran, was called off due to the demand of the firefighters' families calling for more rubble removal operation.

Plasco Trade Center, the 17-storey building collapsed in downtown Tehran on January 19 while a number of firefighters were inside the building to rescue those trapped in the huge fire.

Plasco, built in 1962, was the first high-rise building in the Iranian capital.
