Talking to IRNA, Managing Director of Pazargad Non-Industrial Operation Services Co. (P.N.I.O.S.C) Mohammad Safaeian underscored that the village would play a pivotal role in reducing foreign currency drain.
Constructed by highly-talented Iranian experts, Safaeian underscored that once the project becomes fully operational, it would create several job opportunities for local workforce in Assaluyeh.
He stressed that the project is being implemented with 70% physical progress, expressing hope that the tourist village could go on stream by mid February 2017.
Located in 20 hectares of Shirino region in Assaluyeh, the project has so far generated more than 430 direct and 1,200 indirect job opportunities, said Safaeian
He added the beauty of village would attract lots of tourists from home and abroad, the Persian Gulf littoral states in particular, to have fun, featuring live music performances, water games, cage bird touring and cool breathe on sea shores.
Safaeian noted the programmers of the project have done their best to keep the traditional texture of the region untapped.
Citing the tourism village as environment-friendly, he added all environmental permits have been obtained for construction of the project.
Safaian said so far 150 billion rials (over $ 4.6m) has been spent for construction of the project.
He added the Iranian experts were even smart enough to use unused and stock MDG cylindrical pipes to build special family suits for the families.
Safaian went on to say that the basic materials of the structures are mainly waste and unused materials of regional industrial units.
He noted the Pazargad project in Assaluyeh started in the year 1394 (2015-16), providing necessary infrastructures in the coastal area and putting the workshop for construction of related equipment into operation.
He added a planning panel, comprising architectures, civil and mechanical engineers and tourism specialists, started focusing on the project and taking necessary measures to provide facilities in the coastal areas, build wooden structures like arbors and wooden suits in the coastlines like the floating suits, enjoying all facilities of a suit.
The official cited expansion of 'Rural Tourism' as another program of Pazargad Non- Industrial Operation Services Company, adding the move is aimed at introducing the untapped and unknown rural areas to tourists from home and abroad.
According to the plan, the Iranian and foreign tourists could enter the rural houses and become acquainted with the customs and traditions of rural people.
