Iran's envoy confers with Austrian Catholic leader

Mowlaei referred to the invaluable and effective role of the Cardinal Schonborn in holding religious and cultural dialogue between Ulema and thinkers of the two countries and said the seventh round of the dialogue will be held in Tehran in September 2017.
The ambassador then briefed his host on Iran's stances and strategic policies on regional and international crises, developments and conditions.
Cardinal Schonborn for his part explained his stances and provided an outline on his assessment of the world situation.
Recalling his visit to Iran in 2001, the cardinal said he was pleased with meeting with Iranian political and religious figures.
While referring to Iran's 'influential and important' role in the global and regional developments, the Austrian Catholic leader praised the country's efforts for establishment of peace and tranquility in the region.
