The two-day conference will be jointly held by the Institute of Islamic World Futures Studies (IIWFS) and Shahid Beheshti University from November 14 to 15.
Participants of the conference are going to discuss issues like critical hotspots in the world of Islam, typological study of these crises, roots of geopolitical crises in the Islamic world, spatial repercussions of the geopolitical crises in the Islamic world and adopting appropriate strategies and approaches to address these issues are among main topics of the conference, the secretary of the conference Major General Yahya Rahim Safavi said on Monday.
So far 400 articles have been sent to the secretariat of the conference out of which 130 articles have been selected for presentation, General Rahim Safavi said.
According to General Safavi, a senior advisor to the Supreme Leader, scientists and researchers from Germany, France, Egypt, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Afghanistan and Yemen are among the main participants.
