Rouhani: Terrorism never serves good for countries

In a meeting with the visiting Foreign Minister of Togo Robert Dussey, he stressed that terrorism has never been a good tool is assisting countries to achieve their goals in the region.

He further underlined the importance of fighting extremist notions which keep spreading in a bid to attract young people to terrorist groups, stresseing that the financial and military support certain countries render to terrorists have to stop.

He urged international organizations to take serious and orchestrated measures to combat terrorism as a global threat.

The president stressed more cooperation between the two countries and said Iranian companies can undertake big infra-structural projects with better services in competition with foreign firms.

The Togolese minister highlighted friendly relations between the two nations and called for further expansion of relations.
