The members of the committee to fight Zionist regime’s apartheid underlined the need for cooperation and coordination between the non-governmental organizations and the activists supporting the freedom of the Holy al-Quds (Beit-ul-Moqaddas).
In late August, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qassemi condemned the Zionist regime’s attacks on the defenseless Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and the acts of aggression against the al-Aqsa Mosque as well as Tel Aviv’s pursuing to Judaize Beit-ul-Moqaddas city.
“Such moves reveal the aggressive nature of the occupiers of Beit-ul-Moqaddas and is a sign of desperation against the praiseworthy resistance of the Palestinian people and the resistance groups,” Qassemi said.
He called for an international measure to stop Israel’s ceaseless desecration of the al-Aqsa Mosque by illegal excavations under and around its compound as well as the regime’s Judaization plan for Beit-ul-Moqaddas.
“The approach by some governments to normalize relations with the occupying Zionists means that they are turning a blind eye to the Zionist regime’s continuous crimes against the Palestinian people and makes the Zionist ruder,” Qassemi added.
Qassemi urged the leaders of Muslim countries to remain vigilant and shoulder more responsibility towards the cause of the Palestinian people.
In late August, Israeli forces launched airstrikes and artillery fire on the Palestinian towns of Beit Hanun, Beit Lahia, and Jabalia, just hours after several Palestinians were wounded in attacks in the northern Gaza Strip.
Several people were injured in the attacks which also damaged the Palestinian cities’ infrastructure.
Israel claimed the attacks were launched in response to a rocket fired from Gaza which fell in the city of Sderot.
