Spokesman: Saudi rulers shrugging shoulders from Mina responsibility

'The Saudi rulers are still repeating their unfair accusations concerning politicizing the Hajj rituals for Iranian pilgrims in an effort to proceed with their repetitious and futile game as well as shrugging their responsibility for the past one year,' Qasemi said on Tuesday in reaction to a recent statement by Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Nayef as Saudi interior minister and responsible for holding the Hajj rituals during which he accused Iran of politicizing Hajj rituals.

'Saudi crown prince who is emphasizing to such extent on the need for protecting Hajj's security should remember its government's destitute in preserving Hajj security last year and be accountable to the bereaved nation of the tragic Mina incident,' he added.

The foreign ministry spokesman said that the Saudi rulers who today claim to be protecting the Islamic tenets should prosecute those perpetrators who undermined the lives of the Hajj pilgrims and prevented setting up an international fact-finding panel.

'The outcome of the incapability and inefficacy of the Saud rulers in holding Hajj and the outbreak of the big human disaster in Hajj rituals is pointing to those rulers who not only have not voiced regret in death of thousands of pilgrims, but also they have directly and indirectly victimized the Muslim nations of the region for the sake of their deceptive political games,' Qasemi said.
