Aghajafari, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, presented his credentials to the President of South Africa at a ceremony on Thursday.

Iran's new Ambassador to South Africa previously served as Assistant Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran for Africa.

He is the successor of Mohsen Movahedi Qomi as head of the Iranian Embassy in South Africa.
