Ambassador: French national assembly president due in Tehran

Ahani said that head of Majlis Commission on National Security and Foreign Policy Alaeddin Boroujerdi visited France and was responded by a delegation from the French Senate paying a visit to Iran last month.

Iran and France parliaments initiated exchange of visits of parliamentary officials.

He said that bilateral meetings will pave the way for further expansion of relations between the two countries.

Bartolone and his accompanying delegation are due to confer with Iranian parliament officials on the international campaign against terrorism and extremism and solving regional problems, the ambassador said.
