He made the remarks in meeting with Iran’s Ambassador to Iraq Iraj Masjedi in Baghdad on Tuesday.
During the meeting, the officials discussed regional developments as well as Tehran-Baghdad bilateral relations and avenues for promoting them.
They also dealt with other issues, including Iraqi political situation as well as the need for safeguarding Iraq’s achievements in the fields of fighting terrorism and victory over Daesh.
