A two-member bench of the Islamabad High Court announced the verdict on their application. The court also allowed the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to arrest both PPP leaders.
The accountability watchdog has constituted two teams for the arrest of the former president, reported citing sources. The two leaders have the option of appealing the judgment in the Supreme Court.
The case relates to a huge money transaction to the PPP leaders' private company through alleged fake bank accounts.
NAB is conducting investigations in pursuance of the Supreme Court’s verdict in the money laundering of billions through fake accounts case.
Earlier, the case was being heard in a banking court in Karachi but had been shifted to an accountability court in Islamabad upon an appeal by the NAB.
