In a meeting with Iran’s Ambassador to Ljubljana Kazem Shafe’i on Wednesday, he added that when certain countries do not abide by the agreements, they pose dangers that everybody is aware of them.
“We are pursuing the situation worriedly, but we should believe that the statesmen should find wise solutions for the problems,” he said.
Iran’s ambassador, for his part, commented on the latest situation of the JCPOA, especially the US exit from it, as well as designation of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organization by the US.
Referring to Iran’s self-restraint since the deal was clinched last year, Shafe’i explained the reasons why Iran intends to suspend some sections of its commitments.
Slamming the US unilateral actions, he called on the countries, including Slovenia to withstand the US unilateralism.
Given the significance of parliamentary diplomacy in the enhancement of bilateral relations, he voiced Majlis’ readiness to help boost parliamentary relations with Slovenia.
During the meeting, the two officials discussed the latest regional developments as well as bilateral relations.
