During the meeting both sides discussed regional development.

Earlier in a meeting with Lebanese officials in Sidon, Firouznia said the Islamic Republic of Iran will overcome this phase of sanctions with more power and zeal.

He added that Iran will continue supporting resistance and will defeat the cruel and aggressive policies adopted by the US and the Zionist regime of Israel in the region.
