Iran, Oman joint military drill wraps up

Iran's Army navy and the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC)'s navy as well as some units from the Royal Army of Oman were present in the drill.

Iran and Oman's joint military exercise was held in the context of the 15th meeting of the joint military commission of two countries held on April 18.

Iran and Oman have always experienced good and sustainable ties. Iran and Oman's trade stood at 700-million-dollar in the past Iranian calendar year ended on March 21, 2019.

The two countries are well capable of boosting trade to one billion dollar in the near future, Iranian Ambassador to Muscat Mohammad-Reza Nouri-Shahroudi said recently.
