Head of Iran Iran Handball Federation Alireza Pakdel at the ceremony of signing the MoU referred to Croatia as one of the global powers in handball.
He welcomed the presence of the Croatian officials in the field in Tehran and hoped the MoU will lead to the improvement of Iran's status in handball.
Referring to the Olympics and world championship qualifiers, he said that the MoU between Iran and Croatia would certainly improve Iran's status in the world as it did in the past.
Head of Croatia Olympic Committee Zlatko Mateša, for his part, said that the MoU signed with Iran's Olympic Committee is supported by Croatia, and it is considered as a window to cooperation between the two countries on handball.
Iran's handball and its quality is well-known to the world, and we are fully ready to cooperate with the federation, he added.
