The 117th session of presiding board of ISSA was held in Geneva, Switzerland, on December 5-6, 2018.
Director General for international affairs of Social Security Organization of Iran Reza Kashef, who is vice-president of ISSA Technical Commission and represented Iran in the meeting, said that in the first day of the meeting, membership of Mr. Bandpay to substitute former Managing Director of the organization late Taqi Noorbakhsh in the presiding board was approved by consensus of the ISSA presiding board.
At the beginning of the meeting, Secretary General of ISSA Hans-Horst Konkolewsky declared demise of late Taqi Noorbakhsh in a car accident and announced one-minute of silence to pay respect for him, and appreciated all his efforts during his membership in ISSA.
