Speaking to the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) on Thursday, Mohammad-Hadi Ziaie-Mehr said Khorasan railways earned 1.992 billion rials within seven months of the current Iranian calendar year (started on March 21).
He added that 90% of the amount is related to international activities.
Razavi Khorasan Province and Central Asian republics exchange goods, he noted.
During the first six months of the current Iran year, a total of 1,254,000 tons of products were transited, exported or imported between two areas, which had 57% increase compared with the figure within the same period last year.
