Turkey considers as violation of its sovereignty Khashoggi's case, argued Ali Khorram, speaking recently to the Islamic Republic news Agency (IRNA).
The disappearance of the Saudi prominent journalist will, at least in the short run, tarnish the two countries ties, Khorram said, referring to the dissident Saudi journalist who vanished on October, 2 after he entered the Saudi consulate in Istanbul to collect documents for his forthcoming marriage.
Turkey does not want to be accused of the crime since it knows those violating human rights will find themselves in hot water, the former diplomat said.
Turkey denies playing any involvement in the Saudi journalist's case, pointing the finger of blame at Riyadh, Khorram said.
Turkey seeks to reveal the secret, thus improving its image around the world, he added.
In his articles published mostly by the Washington Post, the 59-year-old Saudi illustrious journalist used to sharply rebuke Saudi Arabia's policies.
