Eight international teams from Germany, Netherlands, Belguim, Russia, Republic of Azerbijan, Lithuania, Czech Republic, and Kazakhstan and five Iranian teams compete in the event in six stages.

The 33rd Azerbaijan international cycling tour consists of six stages with the total length of 999.7 kilometers.
