Al-Shaar’s remarks came during the graduation ceremony of new batch of internal security officers held at the Police Academy in Damascus on Saturday, SANA reported.

The Minister said that the Syrian people have “the originality, heritage of resistance, firm belief in the homeland and self-confidence which gave them the strength, ability and insistence on steadfastness and resistance.”

Al-Shaar congratulated the graduates for joining the Internal Security Forces who are consolidating the homeland’s safety and security.

The graduation ceremony included a military parade and an oath-taking ceremony for graduates.
