Iran, role model for Serbian cinema: Serbian director

'I was already familiar with Iranian cinema, but I have traveled for the first time to Iran and this is a new experience for me,' Wokeh Rishomowic added.

Referring to to his film 'Child of Nobady' which was shown on Monday in Tabriz, the director also said that the movie was based on the true story that took place during the Serbian war.

He went on to say that 'The film was first released in countries where we experienced a common tragedy as Serbian civil war, and it was interesting to me because of feedback from viewers'.

The Serbian week are being held in the cities of Tabriz, Tehran and Shiraz from August 23-29.
