
Releasing a statement, Fazel Al-Gharavi announced that 460 Iraqi security forces and 269 protesters have been injured during the protests.
He added that some 757 people were also arrested but most of them were released over the past two days.
The protests caused damages to 91 residential and governmental buildings as well as cars.
Thousands of Iraqis also protested on Friday against government’s inattention to public services, long-term electricity disconnection, water crisis, problems in agriculture sector and unemployment.
